SENIOR INFORMATION:

College/Career planning will begin this month.  Parents are encouraged to call and set up appointments with Mrs. Lewis during the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  New applications are arriving daily.

It is very important for seniors who plan to attend college to begin applying to colleges.

Some scholarship deadlines are fast approaching.  The October ACT and SAT test dates will be your last opportunity to take these tests and get your score reports in time for December scholarship deadlines. 

You can go online and chat with representatives from selected colleges and universities about admission requirements and programs of study. (www.onlinecollegefair.com)

Wendy's High School Heisman Awards honor both male and female high school senior scholar/athlete/citizens.  The award is based on three criteria:  academic excellence, community service and athletic achievement.

The E.B. Kennedy Scholarship is being granted for study at Erskine College, Due West, South Carolina.  This fall, four year merit scholarship covers tuition, room, and board.  Seniors come by the guidance office for more information.  Other scholarship applications available are:
           Washington UN in St. Louis-Scholars Program

New ACT requirement at Auburn - Automatic acceptance - ACT 22 and a 3.0 GPA.
